Primary initiatives:

Wayfinding Program

• Gateway and directional signage along Richmond Highway to be installed in summer 2012

Façade Improvement Program

• SFDC & Fairfax County Office of Community Revitalization (OCR) provide financial and design assistance
• Up to $3,500 for design fees
• Up to $25,000 match for construction

Community outreach and planning

• Hold community summits; past topics include green development, hospitality, retail, multifamily, small business, and BRAC
• Identify infrastructure improvements
• Provide input to development projects
