Edythe Frankel Kelleher – Executive Director

Edythe started with SFDC in March 2013. She brings 17 years of experience working in local government, including serving on the Vienna Town Council and on the staff of Mason District Supervisor Penelope Gross. Edythe also serves on the Executive Committee of the Virginia Municipal League. Prior to her work in local government, Edythe was a property manager / analyst with Legum & Norman, a project administrator with ST Research Corporation, and an economist / statistician for the Bureau of Labor Statistics. She has a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from the George Washington University, and a Bachelors Degree in Economics and Social Sciences from the Johns Hopkins University.

Dan Lagana – Communications Director

Dan began with SFDC in January of 2016. Prior to joining SFDC, he worked on local and national political campaigns, especially within Fairfax County.  Dan is a six year veteran of the US Army, to include three years in the Virginia National Guard. He is a native of the Richmond Highway area and is a graduate of West Potomac High School.  In his spare time he volunteers with local non-profits along the Richmond Highway Corridor, and enjoys reading and coaching at a local CrossFit gym.
