  • How many jobs will be located off Richmond Highway?

4,000 jobs are slated to be stationed at the South Post of Fort Belvoir Army Installation, located off Richmond Highway


  • What does it mean for Richmond Highway?

The Richmond Highway corridor will reap continual economic benefits thanks to the BRAC actions. The anticipated increase of visitors and employees has spurred development of hotels and office space, and continues to be a topic of conversation among developers and government contractors.


  • How many government contracting jobs will follow the BRAC actions?

Estimates range between 1 and 4 positions per job added to the Ft. Belvoir Installation.  This will result in a need for approximately 7 million square feet of office space.
