Mount Vernon and Lee District Members of Fairfax County Board of Supervisors are strong supporters of the SFDC’s revitalization efforts.  Both Gerald Hyland (Mount Vernon District) and Dana Kauffman (Lee District) provide insight and assistance in changing the face of Richmond Highway.

The Fairfax County Office of Commercial Revitalization and Reinvestment is responsible for the revitalization of Fairfax County's older commercial areas. 

 

The Fairfax County Economic Development Authority (FCEDA) promotes Fairfax County, as a world-class business and technology center. The FCEDA provides a wide array of information and free services designed to help American and international businesses locate or expand commercial operations in Fairfax County. A thriving business community creates jobs, builds the commercial tax base and helps Fairfax County fund award-winning public services that support our quality of life.

 

Mount Vernon Lee Chamber of Commerce is an active business partner with the SFDC in many ways, from entrepreneurial assistance to networking events.  The Chamber serves as the voice for hundreds of businesses along the Richmond Highway corridor.

 

Virginia Economic Development Partnership  enhances the quality of life and raises the standard of living for all Virginians, in collaboration with Virginia communities, through aggressive business recruitment, expansion assistance, and trade development, thereby expanding the tax base and creating higher-income employment opportunities

 

The Fairfax County Convention and Visitors Corporation (FCCVC) assists both businesses and leisure travelers planning to visit Fairfax County.
